I recommend letting your cuticles grow and just lift the up to tuck the mail under. That help hold my fingers suits nails in place and for the cuticles I did cut they didn’t hold to good after 4 days

Pros: 1. I’m on day 6 and my press ons are still going strong. 2. I’m horribly deathly allergic to gel, acrylic and super glue so these press ons are perfect for me 3. The design is amazing, very chic. Cons: 1. The glue is thick and created a space between the cuticle and nail, so RIP to your hair when trying to style it or shampoo. Lots of hairs getting stuck this week. Just be aware, you can get around it by being cautious. 2. I have very large nail beds, so a few nails had to be a little too small for me, albeit for someone with normal sized nails- there are a ton of sizes to pick. I’d give it an 7.5/10
